Superfood Winter Warmer
This is a new way to warm yourself in winter, plus it is full of multiple SUPERFOODS you can feel it healing your body with every sip. If you feel the slightest inkling of a cold heading your way, get this into you ASAP.
This is my winter version of a Fountain of Youth Lifestyle™ favourite — the iced superfood sip from my Collagen cookbook, The Fountian of Youth Lifestyle Collagen Cookbook by Jacqueline Hutton, served hot to warm you from the inside out.
NB: 1 x serve Collagen = 1g or ½ tsp Fountain of Youth Lifestyle™ Tripeptide Collagen
Drink:-
Ingredients:
- 1-2 cups HOT water
- 1 tsp Fountain of Youth Lifestyle™ Tripeptide Collagen
- 1 tsp Activated Charcoal
- 1 tsp Manuka Honey
- 1 tsp bee pollen
- 5-10 drops Propolis
- 1 lemon juiced
- 1 tsp Royal Jelly
- Mint to taste (optional)
Method:
- Add the Fountain of Youth Lifestyle™ Tripeptide Collagen to half a cup of hot water, allowing it to fully dissolve, then add the Manuka honey and mix well.
- Stir in the activated charcoal, bee pollen, propolis and royal jelly.
- Add the fresh lemon juice, then top up with hot water to taste (1–2 cups).
- Garnish with fresh mint and sip while warm.
*** Do not take activated charcoal for an extended period as it is the ultimate natural cleanser, but can affect medications if taken for a prolonged period (keep it to 1-2 weeks).
