Basic Pancakes, Collagen Style
A wellness twist on the weekend classic. Many fond memories go hand in hand with this recipe... Breakfast in bed, passing syrup across the family table. However you enjoy your pancakes, I hope you enjoy these.
This one is featured in my new Collagen cookbook: The Fountian of Youth Lifestyle Collagen Cookbook by Jacqueline Hutton. A collection of my favourite recipes.

Cooking with collagen: how it goes into the batter
The four serves of Fountain of Youth Lifestyleโข Tripeptide Collagen go in with everything else, at step one. It is colourless, odourless and tasteless in food, so it will not interfere with the taste, texture or flavour of your pancakes. Whisk the batter properly before the first ladle hits the pan and every pancake in the stack carries its share. That is the whole idea behind the cookbook: collagen stirred into the food you were already making, rather than one more thing to remember. Read the science behind the tripeptides.
More collagen breakfasts
If pancakes are a weekend thing in your house, these two cover the weekdays: Granola Clusters, a big jar of them made in one batch, and Granola Cookies for the lunchbox. Both are from the same cookbook, and both take their collagen the same way.
One ingredient, stirred into the food you already make.
